What is Gastritis? It is a digestive condition which involves inflammation of the stomach lining called mucosa. Gastritis is a severe condition which leads to burning pain, nausea, indigestion and other discomforts. It can be both acute and chronic. Acute gastritis is referred as sudden inflammation in stomach lining called mucosa and caused due to bacteria, virus, stress, excess alcohol, spicy food and so on.
